From June 30, the Canton of Vaud, in partnership with the Mobilis tariff community, will be rolling out a new campaign to promote sustainable mobility, targeting leisure travel on public transport, called vaudloisirs.ch!

Among the campaign's key measures, two attractive offers will be made available in 2021 to encourage Vauders to take the bus, train or metro to go to the swimming pool, zoo, theater or any other tourist or leisure destination:

  • The CHF 1 companion card: travel for two at half price (or almost)!
Sold at CHF 1.-, this card offers the possibility of accompanying a person with a Mobilis transport ticket (ticket, day pass, season ticket) on the same zones and the same class, for the same duration, from 9 a.m. on weekdays or from the 1st runs on weekends and public holidays.
Offer on sale from July 3 to August 22, 2021.

  • The CHF 5.- Extension Abo day pass: allows Mobilis subscribers to travel freely on the entire network!
For CHF 5.00, Mobilis season ticket holders can travel on all Mobilis zones, from 09:00 on weekdays or all day on weekends and public holidays.
On sale from August 23 to October 31, 2021.

At the same time, the vaudloisirs.ch website offers a varied catalog of activities and tourist destinations accessible by public transport, complemented by offers and advice designed to facilitate and encourage a change of habit. This ambitious collaborative platform will be enriched over the months to come, thanks to the support of the region's transport companies, the communes of Vaud and the canton's tourism and economic players.

At a time when climate protection is a major concern, the Canton of Vaud and Mobilis are setting the first milestone in an ambitious campaign to encourage more environmentally-friendly everyday travel and leisure activities.
